~ Purpose ~
This camp aims to provide a positive introduction to string playing for beginners, and an opportunity to improve skills for more experience players. The camp is open to all students entering grades 4 through 6. It will provide a rich environment where students will be encouraged to pursue excellence in solo and ensemble playing.
~ Purpose (Con't) ~
Through the guidance of highly qualified instructors, students will explore the many facets of string music while developing good practice and rehearsal techniques. The culmination of the week's activities will be a concert on Friday. Instruments will be available for rental. Students will be grouped according to age and ability.

~ Tuition ~
The cost of the camp is $50.00. This fee covers tuition, music, and private instruction. A non-refundable deposit of $25.00 is required with the application. The balance is due two weeks prior to each camp (June 8, July 6)

June 22-26 Camp
Mount Calvary Lutheran Church is located at 1000 Scalp Ave. Coming south on 219 take the third exit after the Galleria Drive exit, going west on 56 (Scalp Ave.) through three lights. Going north on 219 exit onto 56 (the first exit past Davidsville), go right at the bottom of the off ramp, and straight through three lights. The church sites on a corner on the left at the fourth light.

Friedens Lutheran Church is located on Route 281 north of Somerset. From Johnstown, exit 219 at Friedens, turn left onto 281. The church will be on the left.
